The Virginia Coalition for Open Government

Join the Coalition

The Coalition exists to enhance the flow of information to citizens of the Commonwealth and beyond. Members share a commitment to resist attempts to abridge, circumvent or otherwise restrict the right of citizens to attend meetings of public bodies, and to preserve all existing channels of access to public information. Members seek new ways of providing access to the largest number of people at the lowest possible cost and oppose the imposition of excessive costs for public records. Individual citizens, private and nonprofit organizations, government entities and all public officials who agree with these basic principles are invited to join our Coalition.

Additional donations, which are fully tax-deductible, are greatly appreciated.
