§ 3.1-622. Reports of apples sold.
A. Every producer shall submit to the Board not later than January 31 of each year, on forms prescribed and furnished by the Board, a report consisting of a signed statement of the weight or number of bushels of apples sold by the producer from July 1 through December 31 of the previous year.
B. Every producer shall submit to the Board not later than July 31 of each year, on forms prescribed and furnished by the Board, a report consisting of a signed statement of the weight or number of bushels of apples sold by the producer from January 1 through June 30 of that year.
§ 3.1-624. Records; penalty.
Every producer shall keep complete records of the quantity of apples packed, processed or sold by him, and shall preserve such records for a period of not less than two years from the time such apples are packed, processed or sold. Such records shall include the names of any other producers from which the producer received apples and the quantity of apples received from each.
Records required to be kept by this section shall be established and maintained as required by the Board. Such records shall be open to the inspection of the Board’s duly authorized agents and shall be submitted to the Board within 60 days of a request by the Board. It shall be a Class 3 misdemeanor for any producer to fail to make such records available to the Board or its duly authorized agents.
