Michelle Monfiletto is the Deputy of the Juvenile and Domestic Relations team at the Norfolk Public Defender’s Office. She has been at the Norfolk office practicing in juvenile court since 2018. Michelle enjoys mentoring new attorneys and law students and is part of the team that designs and implements training for the Norfolk Office. Her interest in ALPRs and FLOCK started as advocacy for her clients, but has become more personal as she lives and works in Norfolk. She was trial counsel for Commonwealth v. Church, a case involving FLOCK surveillance that was decided by the Virginia Court of Appeals.
