Peter Dujardin has been a reporter for the Daily Press for nearly three decades — and for both the DP and The Virginian-Pilot for eight years. He has covered criminal justice for most of that time. Peter has covered issues with Flock surveillance cameras as they have arisen on his beat. This has included pushes in Richmond to expand the use of Flock cameras to interstates. It also includes lawmakers’ pushes to add increased oversight over the cameras. Peter also saw police on the ground touting Flock cameras in solving cases, as well as defense lawyers challenging the evidence on constitutional grounds. He has worked diligently to keep track of the many cameras there are in Hampton Roads and where they are located.
